Charley Harper Birch Bark & Birds Motawi Tile
Originally painted in 2005, Birch Bark & Birds shows three nuthatches playing amongst birch trees, a common setting for many of Charley Harper’s pieces. The nuthatches provide a touch of color and energy to the forest scene while the birch trees display the simple, geometric beauty that Harper found in all aspects of nature.
Mid-century modern meets Motawi mastery in this tile based on the work of celebrated wildlife artist Charley Harper (1922-2007), a self-described "minimal realist."
Dimensions: 7.8 x 7.8 inches
Tiles are 5/8 of an inch thick and have a notch at the back for display.
