Frank Lloyd Wright Coonley Playhouse Umbrella
The festive balloon-and-confetti motif featured on this black umbrella was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for the leaded-glass windows of the Coonley Playhouse (c. 1912), in Riverside, Illinois. The lively combinations of line, form, and color have inspired generations of designers.
